Control Panel for Twitter is a browser extension for Twitter - its main goals are to reduce the amount of algorithmic content you see, give you more control over your timeline and make the UI less distracting.
By default, your Home timeline will be the reverse-chronological "Following" timeline, which will only contain tweets and quote tweets from the people you follow. The algorithmic "For you" timeline will be hidden, and Control Panel for Twitter will keep you on "Following" if Twitter tries to automatically take you off it. Everything is configurable, so start by opening the options popup and customizing to your liking. Changes you make in the options will be applied immediately.

2月28日現在、快適にTwitter(自称X)を使えています。 Xのロゴが青い鳥になるのも懐かしくてとてもいいです。 制作者さんありがとうございます。 As of February 28, I am comfortably using Twitter (self-proclaimed X). It is very nice and nostalgic to have the X logo as a blue bird. Thank you, creator.
Please make it possible to remove quote retweets just from the For You page and not the following page, I know theres a "Show in seperate tab" option but I'd rather not have to swap tabs to see quote retweets of people I'm following and sometimes the Quote Tweets tab bugs out

Works mostly well, but for some reason it does not sort replies by likes, even though I have that option checked. Whenever I load a tweet it's always sorted by "relevancy" (whatever that means lol). Also, I'd love it if you gave us an option to return the bookmark button back to the sidebar, instead of hidden in the "More" menu.
this extension has served me well for a while now now, but as others have mentioned, it's starting to lose functionality/break down as of the last couple of days. the "who to follow" sidebar has reappeared even with the option to hide it checked on. hoping for a fix soon
Starting to lose functionality. New Layout for PC is also showing on specific accounts
love this extension but since 2 days ago it needs an update! sidebar "who to follow" "whats happening" trending searches have been circumvented by twitter. can't use it til devs fix it as i can't stand seeing that stuff lol. i'm hoping it gets updated soon! edit feb 16: it's fixed!
It works, but why does the Sidebar still show "What's Happening" "Subscribe to Premium" and "Who to Follow" despite these being ticked to hide them? I'm on Opera GX, and this Extension has been great with making X look like how it SHOULD be, but the hide feature needs fixing and working as intended.
いつも快適なTwitterライフをありがとうございます。 すでに他の方も書き込まれていますが、 ・検索時にフィルター(ユーザーの選択、場所)が出なくなってしまっている。 ・右側にXでライブを放送する、「いま」を見つけよう、おすすめユーザーの表示が出る。 お手数ですが検索の方は携帯からですと間引かれてしまうので対応していただきたいです。 よろしくお願いいたします。
great extension! but hide "who to follow" and "What is happening" and premium ad is now showing on the sidebar it's no longer hidden.
