This extension detects M3U8 streaming formats on the active tab and offers to download these segmented streams as a single file to the user's local disk.

This extension detects all possible video qualities and uses direct disk writing to store segments. So there is no need to have a recovery plan from a possible crash. Your data is written instantly to the local file and is ready to use. It also merges all segments automatically when the file is fetched. To improve download capability, the extension also sets the referrer header of the original page.

This extension uses multiple threads to download the HLS stream to increase the downloading speed and stability. Also, it supports resuming the download process when there is a network failure (Thanks to the TDM.JS engine).

How to use it:

1. Go to a streaming website like https://videojs.com/

2. Wait until the toolbar color changes

could literally be the only working video catcher and downloader and not only that it allows you to copy the url and you can paste it in other IDMs. i have downloaded like 10 extensions and this is the only working one. Truly thankful and quite underrated edit: wont work on youtube and thats okay cause it doesn't claim to and its easy to download anyway.

I've noticed that it doesn't show links until I check or uncheck "Improved Media Detection". Please fix it.

Funktioniert auf einigen Seiten, auf anderen nicht, dennoch auf jeden Fall einer der besseren HLS-Download-Tools. Ich habe viele ausprobiert! Wichtig: Die aktive Erweiterung führt bei mir zu verschiedenen Problemen im Chrome-Browser, wie z.B. nicht mehr funktionierende Uploads von Bild-Dateien in einem WCMS oder auch das Einloggen auf Unternehmenseiten als Admin bei einem Business Network geht nicht mehr. Sobald die Erweiterung komplett deaktiviert ist, funktioniert auch wieder alles.

This extension become useless now. No video detected from live stream anymore, might as well just delete this extension to stop wasting other people time.

Esta si funciona como quiero, pues me descarga el video en mi idioma y no en otros idiomas que contenga el video, hoy 12 de junio de 2024 me funciona bien.
