Liked it until it started putting "new tab ads" randomly onto pages. The ads are not huge but they could easily be a security risk. No thanks.
I loved it until the last update. Now it is adding a menu of images ads on the first image on the page. I HATE THAT.. I design pages and I need to see what it looks like. I have to disable it to work. I may as well leave it off now.. To BAD WAS A NICE APP
everything was good and i was enjoying this extension until they added the advertising... is just too much, too many ads, other than that is a great tool and a good way to manage all my Google Apps

As of latest update you will get SuperFish popup ads on almost every page. Uninstalled! Adware = Deal Breaker
I use adblock and some ads started showing up. Then I realized that those ads were powered by Awesome New Tab. Seriously? Uninstalling right now.
It was alright until I started getting random shopping advertisements that said "awesome new tab deals" on it. Not exactly sure why they would blatantly install adware with their chrome extention. Update: The adware seems to be gone, however, for the past 6 months, the weather widget has been broken. No matter what location I put for the weather, it says it's invalid.

When I first installed this add on, I do not remember the advertising, seem like they must have recently added the advertising, or I just did not notice it at first. The ads have the heading, Awesome New Tab Deals, I did not even know for sure if it was a result of this add-on, until I tried uninstalling this Awesome New Tab add on to see if the ads went away, and they did. The worst part of the advertising, is that the ads always appear on reseller web pages and specifically the ads were overlaid on top of the product images for that item beings looked at, say for instance if I was searching for a laptop of any model at any electronics reseller, there is almost always a set of images showing the customer what the item looks like, whel the Awesome New Tab Deals is a set of images overlaying the product images, actually covering them up, it is almost not even apparent that this is advertising, until clicking on what appears to be normal webpage images for the items being looked at, then it redirects to other websites for the same exact product being looked at. Way way way more annoying than desirable, because I happened to be searching for products on websites that often had the best deals, so the ads redirected me to unwanted websites selling the same products, so once I figured out what was going on, my online shopping experience was a constant process of searching for items, then immediately having to X out of the Awesome New Tab Deals in order to view the product images on the webpage that I was look for items on. This sucks, because Awesome New Tab is a really great add on that allows the customization of the Google new tab webpage. If the ads are removed, I will re-install this add on, until then, it makes my online shopping a more difficult experience.
