The tool itself is nice, but they add a lot of ads on different website which is completely AWFUL!
ADWARE!!!!! I have been using and loving this extension for sometime. But after seeing numerous popups showing up on random web pages I did a little digging and found out this plugin was the cause! FOR SHAME!!!! You can disable it, thankfully, but still this is not cool! I would have gave this a 5 but now that it is hijacking my browser it gets a 1! AVOID THIS EXTENSION! UNINSTALLING NOW!

realy a great extension. though the new advertisments first confused, then annoyed me. they can be turned off, though: *** TO DISABLE THE FRUSTRATING ADS: 1. Go to the Options of the extension 2. Turn off "Enable Superfish similar product search" *** - thanks @Matt Gottesman
What a load of crap. This was an amazing program until the dev decided to ruin it by enabling an ad overlay on live webpages that I'm browsing. I don't remember agreeing to that in my TOS. I guess it's time for someone else to come along and make the same thing, but not crappy.
It was a marginally decent iGoogle replacement until ads started showing up everywhere. I found where to turn ads off, but don't trust it to be installed anymore.
its cool and simple makes new tabes not as annoying plus the dark color backround really adds to the awsomeness
Simple & intuitive
I used to love this extension but the most recent update (1) added "non-intrusive" image ads that are shown above/below images in the websites I view - they pop up and are actually very intrusive; and (2) increased permissions to have "access to my data on all websites"(!!), "access to my tabs and browsing activity,"(!), and "manage my apps, extensions, and themes." I don't think having an Awesome New Tab Page is worth exchanging all my data and browsing activity.
