Developer added ad-ware to the extension. Absolute trash. Not worth the install. Avoid this one.
It's really difficult to get a perfectly sized image for the background; it's either that your image is too small, or your image is too big, and a majority is cut off due to the window size. Ads are not a concern for me, there are options to turn ads off. But i do feel like they are turning back on somehow...
Was an amazing extension that did EXACTLY what I wanted. But now it was bought out by a malware company. DO NOT USE, akin to a virus.
I really, really love this extension, but every single time I watch something, or even open a new tab and go to a website I have audio ads that are like a slap in the face. Even when I have a video in full screen mode I have to pause and minimize and pause/mute the ads. I don't want to get rid of this extension, but if this keeps happening I'm not going to keep it. I have disabled the ads in the configuration box but they are still appearing. Please do something about this. I don't want to have to find another extension that is not as great as this one.
Loved it until you started force-feeding ads all over the websites I visit, ESPECIALLY ads with AUTOMATICALLY PLAYING VIDEO AND AUDIO. F*%^ that, I'm out.
Each update lately has been adding a new set of ads superimposed over websites-- opt-OUT, not opt-in. It's a nice extension, but not nice enough to put up with that kind of behavior. Uninstall.
I like the idea, have been using it for a while. Disable the Ad's but it keeps turning itself back on without any warning.
This seemed like a cool extension until it literally started planting auto-playing video banner ads (with full audio) into any web page I had open. This is one of the most annoying and invasive tactics to monetize I have ever seen in my life. I'm uninstalling this extension now, the stupidity is not worth it.
I wouldn't mind supporting the extension by leaving the ads turned on if they weren't so invasive. They overlay content, though, so I have to turn them off. I would pay for an ad-free version of the extension, because I do like it, but the ads are really poorly done.
Ok, I just tried what the DEV suggested to turn off the ads and went back and refreshed my tabs and the ads are gone. Give the guy a break, DEV costs money . . . Good job
