SponsorBlock lets you skip over sponsors, intros, outros, subscription reminders, and other annoying parts of YouTube videos. SponsorBlock is a crowdsourced browser extension that lets anyone submit the start and end times of sponsored segments and other segments of YouTube videos. Once one person submits this information, everyone else with this extension will skip right over the sponsored segment.

You can also skip over non music sections of music videos.

This is open source and the entire database is public.

I really wish there to be a description for every skip or mute etc.. and a custom block like i could name a custom one called scary part and if someone has custom on with skipping for a custom segment it would skip the "scary part" this is the only suggestion I have and would really love it you can have any finishing touches to it, please

It doesn't always skip items previously marked by other users. Can't give you 4 or 5 stars if the product doesn't perform correctly all the time.

This extension is just awesome! Adblock is taking care of the regular advertisement spam on the internet, including YouTube, but I've been quite annoyed for a long time with videos that just put the advertisement inside of the actual video. Sponsorblock removed that big annoyance and together with Adblock is makes YouTube fun again. Recently, the plugins started to miss some of the sponsor segments even though they are tagged as such and then it skips just fine if I restart the video slightly before the section. Not sure what causes this, but I'm sure it will be fixed in a future update. 5 stars wel deserved!

Sadly week ago it stopped working at all. Thought that YT changed something and it will be fixed in update but i can see "Last update 20.05.2022" so reinstalled but it still doesn't work. Sad.

YouTube videos contain embedded sponsor reads, self-promotion, intros, outros, and subscription reminders that waste viewers' time. SponsorBlock crowdsources segment timestamps so all users automatically skip these interruptions.

Install extension → it auto-generates an anonymous userID → extension automatically fetches known segments for any YouTube video from sponsor.ajay.app server → skips segments in real-time during playback. Users can optionally submit new segments by marking start/end times, and vote on existing segments.
