SponsorBlock lets you skip over sponsors, intros, outros, subscription reminders, and other annoying parts of YouTube videos. SponsorBlock is a crowdsourced browser extension that lets anyone submit the start and end times of sponsored segments and other segments of YouTube videos. Once one person submits this information, everyone else with this extension will skip right over the sponsored segment.
You can also skip over non music sections of music videos.
This is open source and the entire database is public.

This makes YouTube more enjoyable and not have people tell you to subscribe or get scummy ads shoved down our throats! 10/10 would recommend this extension!
Best extension I've seen so far, works smoothly
Does everything its supposed to do
Best extension ever made.
Worked great on Edge, but I've switched back to Chrome and this doesn't work at all in Chrome. disabling and reenabling skipping, reloading the extension through Chrome, even doing a full reinstall of the extension, nothing makes SponsorBlock works and it is infinitely infuriating.

I absolutely love this extension. I love everything about it. My only problem is that I'm not able to whitelist channels on youtube based on each category. Some channels spend a *lot* of time on sponsors but not the rest, and some spend a lot of time on self-advertising but not the rest. It depends a lot on the channel so being able to whitelist each category on each channel would make this extension absolutely perfect. I'm still rating this 5/5 because it's perfect at what it does - Just hoping it'll be possible to whitelist each channel categorically to make it even better!
Great extension that never fails me. The new skip to highlight feature is so helpful.
I does magic. never thought this extension could exist.
Great extension if you use Youtube a lot. One problem I've had is that sometimes I won't have the button available on videos. If someone's got a fix for this please let me know.
