SponsorBlock lets you skip over sponsors, intros, outros, subscription reminders, and other annoying parts of YouTube videos. SponsorBlock is a crowdsourced browser extension that lets anyone submit the start and end times of sponsored segments and other segments of YouTube videos. Once one person submits this information, everyone else with this extension will skip right over the sponsored segment.
You can also skip over non music sections of music videos.
This is open source and the entire database is public.

I don't usually review extensions but this one just deserves it. While your run of the mill adblockers and even pi-hole cover monetized youtube ads pretty well, sponsor bits and other nags were either tolerable if they were in line with the content being shared (like jayz2cents pushing ifixit) or worse than the ads themselves (bps and raid legends). Sponsorblock absolutely removes this from the equation and clears the path for the content that you seek. The combination of the two forces reminds me of youtube when it was still sorta good. I'm trying to jump ship from youtube, wished it worked on bitchute and other video platforms. Other than that, a very solid extension.

i am amazed by how fast newly uploaded videos are being handled and on nearly any channel I've never had an sponsor in any video ever since and there weren't any errors or wrongly placed sponsors I really recommend it
