SponsorBlock lets you skip over sponsors, intros, outros, subscription reminders, and other annoying parts of YouTube videos. SponsorBlock is a crowdsourced browser extension that lets anyone submit the start and end times of sponsored segments and other segments of YouTube videos. Once one person submits this information, everyone else with this extension will skip right over the sponsored segment.

You can also skip over non music sections of music videos.

This is open source and the entire database is public.

Beste Extension für YouTube. Einfach ein Segen! Es ist schon so nervig, ohne dieser Erweiterung zu schauen. Ständig NordVPN, Raid Shadow Legends oder ähnliches. Dieses Addon kann ich jedem Empfehlen.

i used to love this, but lately, false sponsorblock show up at even the slightest mention of the sponsor.. take the "PS5 Slim First Look and TEARDOWN!!" video from LTT. TWO of all the segments marked as sponsor, are actually sponsor, the rest is a slight mention about D-brand(who is not the sponsor of the video) quite some time ago, i asked on the support discord, if it could be disabled somehow, so it would only show the actual sponsored segments(in response to another LTT video, but this one was super micro, and every mention of supermicro was blocked as a sponsor) and was told a single setting could be changed(that did nothing) or i could vote the sponsored segments down, to remove them from my end. but that still does not solve the issue.. please, tag segments correctly, or don't tag at all. i am so tired of hearing audio skip, go back to unskip it, to see its a mention of someone related to the video, but not the sponsor. otherwise i will remove the extension and leave a one star review. i mainly want the two ACUTAL sponsor segments at the start, and at the end blocked, not all mentions of a brand!

YouTube videos contain embedded sponsor reads, self-promotion, intros, outros, and subscription reminders that waste viewers' time. SponsorBlock crowdsources segment timestamps so all users automatically skip these interruptions.

Install extension → it auto-generates an anonymous userID → extension automatically fetches known segments for any YouTube video from sponsor.ajay.app server → skips segments in real-time during playback. Users can optionally submit new segments by marking start/end times, and vote on existing segments.
