I agree with the majority of the displeased users (although I like Norton). The urge with which Norton is trying to trick you into buying more (un)necessary extensions/addons/programs, is becoming extremely annoying. (Un)fortunately, Norton is not the only company in the field using this annoying technique. Other AV companies are actually doing the same thing. Norton, please STOP trying to sell us goods, and make sure the BASIC job gets done properly. (4.5 stars for the basic functionality, and minus 1.5 for the annoying "add this...".)
wordt doodmoe van dat gezeur, telkens meer betalen voor alweer een nieuw gevaar, bangmakerij! Doe gewoon waarvoor betaald wordt en hou op met al die irritante popups!
Very very very confusing the tool...interfere with the normal use of the compuetr ...too many ads.... FIX IT !

very confusing to many ads ,never know whether they are free or not.Or whether doing what Norton is telling us
ik wordt ook knettergek van al die meldingen van Norton. Niet meer te volgen en alleen maar er op uit om je nog meer onnodige software te verkopen. Waarvoor betaal ik eigenlijk abonnementsgeld. Houd op met al die meldingen en bangmakerij en doe gewoon waar de consument voor betaalt. Heb sterk de neiging om op te zeggen. Wat een gejank aan continue meldingen, alsof je als consument niets beters te doen hebt.

I agree. All the "Oh by the way, you'd better download this" pop-ups make it seem like Norton is a work in progress instead of a comprehensive security suite (which is what I'm hoping it is). I don't mind an occasional ad showing off capabilities I might not have purchased, but the way they keep showing up is very confusing...
ik word gek van die popup vensters van norton telekens word je gestoord om te scannen is dzt nu echt wel nodig als van je externe schijf de usb stekker even beweegd dat er dan een popup vensters verschijnd ik denk het niet hoor dit is zeer storend en werkt op de zenuwen doe daar toch iets aan of ik betaal geen abonnementbeld meer
I am very confused by the poor explanations of the services and add-ons etc. I am very disappointed with Norton because of this. The adds seem to sacrifice functionality for artistic design and thus become very artistically confusing and deceptive.
