I was pleasantly surprised by how detailed and accurate Fathom is. I especially like the action items check-list that is produced at the end of each meeting. I always send my clients the summaries after our meetings and draw their attention to the action items section as a reminder of what they should be working on. I use Fathom to take notes on all of my Zoom meetings.

I love that it records everything and gives me a summary with action items called out. I find that I can't take notes as quickly or thoroughly as I used to and still be able to focus. Fathom helps eliminate the need for me to take notes and also helps me go through it to sort out the main points and action items. I find the summaries are usually pretty accurate. Plus the way the recordings are laid out is super helpful and they make it easy to share meeting notes with fellow team members.

What do you like best about Fathom? Fathom is really easy to use and well integrated with the usual apps I use for video calls like Teams, Google Meet, or Zoom. The reports are great, and the summary works in multiple languages, which is great for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Fathom? I only see two downsides to Fathom. I would like it to be usable on Teams for iPad, which is not the case yet. Second, I would like the AI algorithms to be able to "learn" new things or words that are not in the usual English language, such as business names, people's names, or acronyms that are unique to our company. Taking notes in meetings is painful and cumbersome, so having a good summary tool is really helpful.

"Just Amazing! Best I have seen" This system is the best I have used and I have shown this to my colleagues and they are just amazed how well it aggregates the topics and key take aways. It summarizes the next steps and action items. Almost feels like there is a real person who attended the meeting summarizing the meeting. Not missing key action items and summarizing the key points of the meeting without having to take notes myself.

Fathom makes meeting follow-up extremely easy! It also allows me to focus on the conversation and really understanding versus trying to take so many notes and coming across disengaged. However, Fathom's Chrome extension makes it so easy to connect or disconnect for each meeting and even review the meeting details while in the meeting. In addition, you can start/stop the meeting from the extension controls. It takes Fathom to another level!
