I was so impressed with the AI meeting summary that I received after a call with a business connection that I signed up for Fathom. Now I use it to keep track of client feedback on projects and to refresh my memory at a glance when days or weeks have passed since a meeting. It's not perfect yet, but has already saved me lots of time and reduced mistakes and lost time on projects. Highly recommend.

Fathom has completely changed how I handle meetings. It's so easy to use, and the AI summaries are spot on, capturing all the key points without me having to take any notes. I love how it seamlessly integrates into every meeting, even when I'm just a guest, and provides clear, organized notes with action items. I love the feature of different types of summary generation. Fathom is awesome. I never need to take notes again and Fahtom's notes are better (fully fledged summaries). It really takes the key points out of a meeting and it can summarize the gist of the meeting all separate discussion topics really well. It shares notes with other participants of the meeting. So it saves me a ton of time. It can even take notes of meetings that were done in other languages and translate the notes to English.

So far I think Fathom has been fantastic. I have been using Otter for the past few years and this, by far, knocks Otter out of the running. With Otter, there are a bunch of other steps I need to do—Fathom takes care of it all. There are a ton of features that I really like. For example: 1) If you use it on your desktop, there's a reminder at the top of your screen, on the same level of where the date, wifi, volume, etc., are that tells you how long until your next call and then when you are recording, it tells you how long you've been recording for. 2) The AI generated summaries, takeaways, and topics are pretty accurate. I have yet to make significant changes to the ones I've seen with all the recordings. 3) When you make an AI generation prompt, the responses are pretty spot on. 4) Being able to click a button that automatically sends your guest a summary and copy of the recording comes in handy. 5) I like how the video has "chapters" so you can see where you speak and your guest speak; it also tells you how long each of you have spoken for. 6) The checklist or To Do's is pretty accurate and handy. 7) I like how it automatically generates the questions I asked the guest and the questions they asked me. 8) I like how the guest sees that I'm using a transcription tool, as it's automated.

What do I like best about Fathom? There are multiple templates for how the Fathom AI takes and summarizes the notes. You get emailed an awesome summary that includes the purpose of the meeting. You have the key takeaways from the meeting discussion. There is a topics discussed section. Lastly there are next steps and action items. I have it auto set to record for all my meetings. It is fully integrated, even when I join another person's meeting, I can add my notetaker and get the same results. It is awesome for client meeting. We have all dealt with clients that don't get all of their To Dos written down. Now they don't have to. I just send them a summary and it has their action steps right at the bottom. No misunderstandings. I don't know how I did meetings (of any type) without this awesome AI tool. I use Fathom for all my Google Meets meetings and it works great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do I dislike about Fathom? Doesn't handle the Zoom multiple meeting rooms (when you are not the host) well. Although this may be an issue of the hosts themselves not knowing how to do it. I haven't had time yet to explore all of the functionality. But the little I have done is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Fathom solving and how is that benefiting me? Fathom takes great actionable notes of all meetings. It sends the summary to the email that I use with my CRM and I just have to tag the email right into my client's history. There is no longer take the meeting notes. Now enter them in the client's profile, etc. It is a time saver, and with great summaries of the discussion, a help for when you want to go back and find the notes as well.

After using and evaluating multiple notetakers, Fathom is by far THE BEST notetaker app out there! All its features are just so helpful and on-point, the AI summary, the unlimited storage, the ease of integration, the hovering panel to control different parts of the call, the talk time indicator, also really love that it doesn't just start recording the moment I join a call but only when at least 1 other attendee does - so it's the big things and the small things that make this tool so great!
