This extension auto-detects RSS feeds on the page you are reading and upon finding one will display an RSS icon in the Omnibox, allowing you to click on it to preview the feed content and subscribe.
The extension comes with 2 feed readers predefined (Bloglines and My Yahoo) but also allows you to add any web-based feed reader of your choice to the list.
What's new in version 2.2.2?
+ Doesn't run in the background all the time, only when in use.
+ Updated to not use a soon-to-be-deprecated API.

not working
Often did not subscribe to full feeds but excerpts only. Direct subscription of the same blogs with Google Reader (and also when using another RSS subscriber extension) showed full posts. By using this extension I was risking loosing full content. Glad I realized it.

This is a great extension, but I feel like it's got one more steps than it should. Current flow: 1. Click RSS icon 2. Select a feed 3. Click subscribe, redirect to Reader 4. Click subscribe I'd prefer it to work like this: 1. Click RSS icon 2. Select a feed 3. Click to subscribe, redirect to Reader, **and automatically subscribe me to feed**
This should be built-in chrome.
Was five stars until it just stopped working out of the blue. No more little icon.
I must be getting old. I really hate how *not* obvious it is to use this. I've installed it and it is hidden from sight. I am already spending 5 minutes on trying to figure out where the hell it is so I can read my feeds. Terrible user friendliness for sure.
Not working atm!
