It’s the add-on for Google Chrome, it turns browser into what it has never been in it’s life: a browser that is no longer resource killer (and if you have ever used Google’s browser you know very well what I’m talking about, with the results on Windows or macOS). The Marvellous Suspender has everything you need to allow you to control the behavior of active / inactive tabs and thus free up RAM when possible, in a transparent way, you do the first configuration and then you forget it exists, what you can do is only that couple of clicks that will serve to manually suspend a tab that you have awakened by mistake by selecting it.
Fork of the original The Great Suspender, but without those modifications that go to invade user privacy. You can find the official repository at github.com/gioxx/MarvellousSuspender, feel free to participate if you have the skills to do that.

Mostly does what a suspende should do, BUT, screen capturing is not working. When I click on it, it just ignores and keeps default setting as if blocked. For me, it's a deal breaker, because I like to take a snapshot of what the screen looked like before suspending it. Win 7, Chrome Version 109.0.5414.120 (Official Build) (64-bit).
Did anyone test if the extension works WELL and efficiently when force enabling it? This is the best extensions I had!

TO RESTORE THIS / MAKE IT WORKING again after chrome disabled it, go to URL "chrome://extensions/" and click on the three dot on the right side of the trash can icon to RE-ENABLE it.
gioxx.org needs to update their code to work w/ the latest requirements by the Chrome team at Google. Those of us that have used this extension for years, and have massive tab-based work flows, are totally reliant on this extension. Chrome is now just getting their memory management capabilities productized at the the UI level, and they have a long way to go. Some, like me, may have even run into massive duplicated and lost tabs due to the conflicts w/ Chrome's new memory management and this extension. If you end up playing w/ Chrome's new Memory Saver settings and also have this plugin, be careful - specifically do not enable the "Maximum" setting in Memory Savor to find yourself with randomly missing tabs in your tab groups, attempting to restore them, ending up w/ duplicated tab groups everywhere, etc. etc. mayonnaise.
GREAT ADD-ON，if you want to restore it ，you can go to "chrome://extensions/"，and click on the three dot on the rightside of the trash can to keep it.
If this extension has been disabled after Chrome's update, you can forcibly turn it back on in the extension settings.
Amazing tool to give back RAM. Google needs to bring it back...
If your tabs are blocked by Chrome, just go to the extension settings page and turn 'The Marvellous Suspender' on, and then all tabs will work again.
