It’s the add-on for Google Chrome, it turns browser into what it has never been in it’s life: a browser that is no longer resource killer (and if you have ever used Google’s browser you know very well what I’m talking about, with the results on Windows or macOS). The Marvellous Suspender has everything you need to allow you to control the behavior of active / inactive tabs and thus free up RAM when possible, in a transparent way, you do the first configuration and then you forget it exists, what you can do is only that couple of clicks that will serve to manually suspend a tab that you have awakened by mistake by selecting it.
Fork of the original The Great Suspender, but without those modifications that go to invade user privacy. You can find the official repository at github.com/gioxx/MarvellousSuspender, feel free to participate if you have the skills to do that.

Pleasse, update so that when refreshing all it only refresh the tabs open, not the ones in the groups behind in the same window. Otherwise very good extension !

Хорошая альтернатива для сохранения приватности, спасибо автору, очень уж полюбил эту версию, но к сожалению оно не обновляется и пришлось перейти на версию Original.
It was awful when I lost the Great Suspender when it was removed due to new owner adding malicious code. I cannot possibly thank this developer enough for bringing back a clean version of it. For us taboholics it is indispensable. It does worry me that it may go away again (https://gioxx.org/2022/10/18/the-marvellous-suspender-a-look-into-the-future/#en-us). Hopefully they will get some new developers to help do the necessary code migration.

I like the extension, it's really helpful. Recently seems the suspended tab can't be added into any Tab Group, is this a known issue? Do we have a plan to fix it. Thanks!
Very nice fork! I would suggest a link for the Session Manager in the main menu. It would be very useful since I use it for suspending my tabs but also as a session manager. Thanks to the developer and keep the good work!

Duplicates a job that Chrome does better by itself. WARNING: When you remove it, wake up all tabs first if you want to keep them, because at that point it closes any suspended tabs without adding them to History, simply losing all your work. A major bug in my opinion.
