This extension is now completely useless with the latest Brave browser update in June 2026. It saves empty tabs in groups. It will remember the group names, but completely forget all the tabs you save in each group every time you close your Brave Browser.

Has become a key part of my workflow. Helps me juggle several projects with several clients. Would really miss it. Good job! Re-ordering the entries was a bit of a chore as somehow the date sorting was not working. Ended up overriding the create times in the JSON to force what i wanted.

I LOVE having my work tabs automatically get grouped so I can quickly drag them to their corresponding windows. I'll probably never delete this extension -- BUT two issues I can't find a solution for, if Dev sees this, let me know?? It appears to be generating NEW tab groups withing Google Chrome **indefinitely, every day. So each day I get logged in, its' as if I'm reusing the same groups as yesterday; BUT IT'S ACTUALLY CREATING WHOLE NEW GROUPS --- so my "Groups" section in Chrome settings is full of hundreds, if not thousands of unused groups, with no ability to delete them except one by one. Additionally, if I'm refreshing a page that's within an active group, and I move my mouse to a different windows to do something while it loads, that page shifts over and changes to the new window, as the group manager script like... "recreates" the original "categorization" script -- so then I have to manually remove it from the new group, in the wrong window, and then manually move it back into the group on the other monitor. If these things can be fixed >>>>>>

Absolutely horrible, dysfunctional extension. Every time I open it it adds more than a dozen tab groups labelled "Tab groups", which I then have to remove -- again and again!! Also, the whole "Save and restore current tabs or groups" feature? NOT! I tried saving some tab groups, but when I went back to the extension my "saved" tab groups are gone. Total trash!

Was the extension recently updated?. The tab group names disappeared all of a sudden, making the extension useless since I have to hover over each group to see the name.

Love it so far, but having one issue. My current settings in chrome say on startup to pick up where I left off. When I start chrome, the pinned tabs, that match rules, get pulled from their pins and put into groups that match the rules. Wondering if there is a way for the tool to ignore the pinned tabs on startup? Perhaps there is a setting there already that I missed?
