If you are having the issues that you need to sign in again don't do it via extension . Just log out from the prolific account on the browser and login again then the extension works again. If you do it via extension pop up to log in you will get the account blocked for too many attempts.

Keeps signing me out, and when trying to re log in gets my account locked due to two many login attempts even though I have the correct login information, and I have to wait for an email form Prolific to unlock.

Works half of the time. Once you do get an alert for a study IF it works. It's already too late the studies are full. You get logged out too and have to log back in. I have to constantly uninstall and then reinstall to get it to work correctly again.

I'm so disappointed that things have changed so much. A few years ago I used to get verbal notifications whenever new studies became available. Now I only get email notifications and frustratingly enough, they always appear in my Spam folder, so unless I'm vigilant in checking my Spam folder, I never know when new studies are available. Also, most times, by the time I do get notifications, they're already full. Plus when I do get lucky enough to be offered a survey, they are most times already full because it takes so long for the site to load. In addition, I notice I'm constantly being logged out of Prolific. I certainly don't log out, so it's obviously a glitch, I'd say, but it's bloody annoying. I get nowhere near the amount of surveys that I used to. I've been a member of prolific for years and am becoming disappointed with the lack of surveys offered, plus notifications and login issues. Prolific, please let me know what is going on. I've sent quite a few emails to Prolific, but nobody ever responds to my emails. Have I done something wrong, or are the problems a sitewide issue? I have just read a response that suggests I reinstall Prolific for the latest version and select to receive verbal notifications. But to reinstall it, it seems I'll have to just go on the waitlist, which I don't want to do! So how can I upgrade the software without having to join the waitlist yet again?

The application is very useful, it helps to participate in more studies. Unfortunately, I see that it has changed a bit, as many people have noticed, including my colleague from Poland, namely after reinstallation (because the plugin apparently had not been updated for some time, so I installed it a second time because I noticed that it had stopped working), you have to manually change the setting to voice notification because the plugin is set to no notifications by default (this is an answer to many commenters here). And why is there no setting for the time with which the plugin checks for new studies? Could this be restored to the standard minimum setting of 60 seconds, as it used to be? Many studies are lost because some disappear even within 10 seconds, so the plugin has become much less functional because of this...

Not as good as it used to be. It logs me out constantly, never verbally says when a new survey is pushed through. When surveys do pop up on the extension they are already full.
