This one's a life changer for anyone using Gmail who wants to set up a fail safe system for turning messages into tasks. If, like me, email messages drive at least 80% of the decisions you make and tasks you have to carry out, this extension will make your life about 95% easier. And for those tasks that are generated through phone calls, conference calls, face-to-face meeting, social media messages, text messages, snail mail, or any other sources, this ActiveInbox has you covered there, too; all you have to do is create and send to yourself a new email and assign a deadline, one or more tasks, project name, and other relevant notes and attachments. Then the email message itself can be archived (pushed out of the InBox clutter) and related action items show up in your email on the date they're supposed to. You can sort your tasks by project, by date, by context (email, errand, phone call, office, home, etc.), to name a few. I don't think you'll need an alternate system at all. No need to go to a different software program to find your task list. They've thought of EVERYTHING. Can't get over how well this works.

Just hit ZERO INBOX!! This extension has helped me gain control of my email. I am a residential property manager and Realtor. I have all of my branded email accounts forwarded into one Gmail account. With an easy click of the button I can deal with an email as it comes in; either filing it where I want, deleting it and smoothly moving to the next email, or setting it as an action item. The ACTION button is my favorite. Click Action, set a date and you can deal with it later when you have more time. No more hunting for that important email. Highly recommend this product!!

Hands down one of the best things I've ever installed in my computer. After installing, the learning curve is so small that you can start using it right away, and it's helped me get to inbox zero more than any other task management strategy I've employed in the past. It's been an incredible aid in my work and I'm growing more fond of it each day, and less afraid to open up my inbox as well
