This is probably the ONE Chrome Extension I simply could NOT live without. It makes BOTH of my crazy lives (home AND work) just a little more sane.
I love Active inbox! It makes my emails actionable and trackable.
I tried Active inbox in the early years when it was the GTD type products and didn't find it as useful. The improvements made in Active Inbox are awesome and it's an extension I rely on everyday. Now to get Evernote integration I'd be in heaven!

ActiveInbox is one of those (very few) must-have apps! Without oversimplifying things, ActiveInbox enables you to tame your Gmail Inbox once and for all. Assign e-mails to Projects, and status messages to achieve the elusive "Zero Inbox" (ala Getting Things Done). Perhaps most importantly, set deadlines for e-mails I've found ActiveInbox absolutely indispensable for bringing sanity to both my personal and work Inboxes. Now, nothing "falls through the cracks" because an e-mail got lost in an unwieldy Inbox. Try it. You have nothing to lose, and so much to gain!
This is my favorite tool to organize my inbox and manage my projects, tasks, etc. Well thought and easy to use solution, integrated deeply into my Gmail UX. I've been using it for many years. They regularly come up with amazing improvements and I love start using the new features they pack in. Worth a try. :)

I don't know how I managed email before this. I've been a user for a few years now and this is at the top of my essential tools for productivity. I really cannot recommend this enough - it's that effective. Developer has been helpful when called upon and the team is always improving the product.
