Wow. The level of bad is astounding! To quote a famous world leader: who could have thought it would be this complicated? It's as if I was transported back 10 years when we just expected software to be dysfunctional. Scrap this whole thing and start over. In the meantime, my a6500 is less useful than I hoped since there are no effective remote apps that can be reliably used. The Sony CEO should be aware of this embarrassing problem and he should immediately shut it down until it is fixed. This is a colossal failure.

Worked, but the PlayMemories website is so horrendously slow. I think it's sat in the corner of a closed office, connected by a 14.4k modem or something. I shouldn't have to wait a minute for every page to load.
