Works great, however to register or to pay for an app causes too much hassle, Sony made a completely pointless, complicated procedure. But this extension does what is promises.

This just simply does not work. Wanted to download the timelapse app, and after hours of trying I'm done. I'd rather buy another camera than try and make this work anymore.

Es ist ja schon tragisch, wenn Sony für eine Timelapse extra etwas verlangt, wenn andere Kameras das bereits eingebaut haben. Sony Software ist grundsätzlich immer schlecht, sei es auf der Playstation, in den Kameras oder den Apps. Sie sollten mal über die Tellerkante schauen. Z.B. bei DJI

This extension and the sony ecosystem of downloading additional features is useless. I do tech support and followed every instruction step by step. In multiple operating systems. Mac OS Yosemite (10.10.5), El capitan (10.11.5), and sierra 10.12 since I have multiple partitions on my computers. Tried both via the camera itself and via the playmemories app website. Neither way worked! I am at a point of selling my cameras due to this and going with a completely different camera system. All I wanted was the timelapse feature. I am selling the Sony A6000, A5100, A7, A7Rii, and A5000. ALL CAMERAS ARE GOING! No more sony cameras due to this bad install process.
