very great way to start watching shows and getting used to the language I started watching Spanish shows and now I no longer need subtitles. Now I'm using the same method to improve my french
Funciona muito bem, tive dificuldades para configurar Francês-Portugues no começo, mas depois de quebrar cabeça funcionou muito bem
The selection for Korean shows are so terrible compared to the offerings available on Netflix. Would just get language reactor instead.
only the ten or so shows in lingopie portal are actually available for subtitles. its a waste of money tbh
Honestly very well done
Très facile et intuitive. Je le recommande.
Really helpful to be able to watch netflix programs and have lingopie features to help with learning (beginner level Italian). I use Lingopie along with other language apps because it helps break down how the language is actually spoken in more life like situations. While I can use my Desktop PC to use the Chrome extension, it would be good if they can restore this functionality for Android devices as I prefer to use my tablet (I understand the extension for Android devices has been disabled since May 2024) so hopefully this will be restored soon
Best for language's learning. amazing boost
The first few times I ran this, it worked just fine, although I would prefer that it also include the English syllables of the Japanese subtitles, like the provided shows on the website do. At one point, I took a break for a day or two, and when I came back, the Netflix extension wouldn't activate, no matter what I tried. However, it still ran on a separate laptop(this is on a desktop), and even worked with Opera(apparently based with chrome's code), even though it didn't on the desktop. Is there anything I should be doing? Side note: the Netflix extension mixes up "he" "she" and "they" pronouns when "desu" or "da" is used, and occasionally when an individual is talking about someone else, the subtitles mistranslate it as them talking about themselves, by confusing the pronoun use. Also, when I first used the extension, there would always be a orange switch in the upper-right of the screen that would turn the extension on and off. For some reason, it's not there on the laptop.
Love it so far. Much easier to learn with the subtitles perfectly synced to the audio and being able to save words that I don't know so that I can study them later.
