Beep is a voice feedback Chrome Extension that allows you to record and listen to voice notes and audio comments all within Google Classroom, Google Docs, and Gmail.

You never need to leave Google Classroom, Google Docs, or Gmail to record and play the voice notes. Easily replicate one of the most essential parts of the in-person in-classroom experience in a remote learning setting - it's the missing piece in digital education.

🤔 Why voice feedback?

Voice feedback can take the friendliness and ease of in person feedback without the logistics of in person meetings and without the difficult and time consuming work of writing pitch-perfect feedback. It's a great tool for bridging the gap in "distance learning" and "remote teaching."

Works well but Beep have recently added a cost to use it. Used to be free but now only limited voice noes before you need to pay. This has made it not usable for the whole of our school

Es una excelente herramienta de Google Classroom, permite dar feedback de manera rápida y en mi caso ayuda a simplifican la explicación. Por el momento la he usado 15 veces de manera gratuita y cero problemas.

Excellent, I really appreciate that I can record slightly longer comments. Usinng this for listening skills short dialogues is also an amazing help. Thanks for the great teacher support.

I was hoping to use Beep in my Spanish classes for conversing with students in Spanish and when grading Google classroom assignments. Unfortunately, Beep doesn't recognize my voice in Spanish, so I don't think I'll be able to use it for the purposes we were hoping. I can, however, leave messages for my students in English.
