Hover your mouse over any image on the supported websites and the extension will automatically enlarge the image to its full size, making sure that it still fits into the browser window.
This is an open source version of the original HoverZoom extension which is now overrun by malware and deleted from store. In this version all spyware has been removed, many bugs were fixed and new features were added. It doesn't collect any statistics by default. The only permission it needs is to access data on all websites (to extract full images), and *optional* permissions to access browser history, download/save images or get tab urls for per-site configuration.
Sometimes sites change design and when it happens extension needs to be updated. Please report any issues with zoom not working by using Support tab or https://github.com/extesy/hoverzoom/issues page.

Very thankful the whole spyware/malware situation was rectified, and it's nice to see HZ+ is open-source. I'm now back to using HZ+ after using Imagus since 2013, which has not been updated for a while now. Thanks to everyone's efforts for this extension, much appreciated.

Bugs here and there but I have yet to find something better. Solid extension thank you
been using this extension for years, love it and am lost using computers without it. That being said I wish it remembered where you last saved to. Hate having to navigate back to the same folder every single time.
Great extension, absolutely essential. The only issue I find nowadays is more a problem with Google themselves: since extensions aren't "allowed" to save to directories other than the default Downloads, the extension no longer saves to the directory I'd previously saved to. Any way to edit this without Google's stupidity? To clarify: If I saved something to "C:\Media", the next file saved would default to that directory, instead of resetting to Downloads. Any way to restore the previous functionality or revert to an older version?

Ya no sirve, antes me funcionaba de maravilla, pero ya no. Intente desinstalar y volverla a instalar, y sigue sin funcionar.
