Hover your mouse over any image on the supported websites and the extension will automatically enlarge the image to its full size, making sure that it still fits into the browser window.

This is an open source version of the original HoverZoom extension which is now overrun by malware and deleted from store. In this version all spyware has been removed, many bugs were fixed and new features were added. It doesn't collect any statistics by default. The only permission it needs is to access data on all websites (to extract full images), and *optional* permissions to access browser history, download/save images or get tab urls for per-site configuration.

Sometimes sites change design and when it happens extension needs to be updated. Please report any issues with zoom not working by using Support tab or https://github.com/extesy/hoverzoom/issues page.

This is normally a 5-star extension. However, sometime in the last week (approximately, "or roughly "early January 2020") it's stopped working across all my machines.

This used to actually play YouTube videos while hovering over them. You still have the video settings in Options/General. Something is broken here. Then you make someone sign up for a Github account when they have "questions, suggestions, or problems" in the support tab? Jeez Oleg, how about an explanation?

Been using this for a long time already, super useful! However as of now, Dec 10 2019, the extension is not working on google images. You need to click on the image and then the extension will acknowledge the picture as something to zoom in on. Hope this gets fixed soon! Super loving this extension!

This used to work well, but especially on reddit as another user said it increasingly doesn't f'n work! I have to find an extension that actually DOES what it says, which this does not. If you want a hover zoom look elsewhere.

Отличное расширение, но последнее время перестало работать на https://photosight.ru . А так удобно, чтоб не присматриваться к превьюшкам. Исправьте и цены не будет.

It's the best pictures zoomer, but it could be nice if it could zoom on the pictures 1. In Youtube Comment + to zoom on the video thumbnails in Youtube. 2. In Messenger.

it will be amazing if I chose default default saving location in addition to shortcut for save as option to chose saving location and make it as defult
