iCloud Passwords lets you securely fill passwords from iCloud Keychain when signing in to websites using Chrome. Any new passwords you create in Chrome are saved to your iCloud Keychain so that they are also available across your Apple devices. The extension can also generate verification codes, which you can set up by right-clicking on a QR code.
The iCloud Passwords extension is compatible with macOS Sonoma or later, and Windows versions supported by the iCloud for Windows app. To enable the extension on a PC, download the iCloud for Windows app from the Microsoft Store and enable iCloud Passwords.

Eindelijk werkt deze functie ook binnen Chrome in MacOS (Sonoma). Wat wel echt vreselijk is is dat je de extensie bij het opstarten van Chrome iedere keer moet activeren met een 2FA code. Dat maakt het gebruik zo irritant dat liever een andere password manager blijf gebruiken.
Every time you open Chrome, you need to activate the extension with a 2FA code generated by your mac, the extension works well once activated, but having to do the activation process time and time again is overkill.

Annoying to have to enter OTP to enable extension each time Chrome is restarted. And extension disables Chrome auto fill by default, to not interfere with the extensions auto-fill popup for usernames/passwords, but this also disables Chrome's auto-fill for contact information and credit cards.
Better than having to manually search for my password, but having to input the two-factor authentication code so often is really inconvenient. Why couldn't they rely on the fingerprint as verification, since they later require fingerprint to fill the password anyway?

It works but I could not understand why I must to do the 2FA each time I open Chrome without any opt-in/out options. It definitely worse user experience.
