(⚠️ In some cases, Auto Resume Downloads are disabled by the Chrome browser API spec. Sorry, but in that case, please toggle the extension's switch off and on to resume your downloads.)
It is an open source Chrome extension that can automatically resume downloads that have been stopped for unintended reasons.
The full source code of the program is publicly available on GitHub, and anyone can contribute if there is a bug or improvement.
If you leave the switch on, it will automatically resume downloading paused in the background.
You can manually set the time interval to trigger the resume and also check the program usage log.

Bij veel onderbrekingen in de download lijkt auto-resume op een gegeven moment niet meer te werken. Jammer dat er geen tijden in de add-on log vermeld worden.

супер, просто ретраит отвалы сети, и всё. То что нужно.
Doesn't work, not worth downloading.
Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't. Pray to the One(s) you believe in, you might get lucky then. Logs are useless, settings seem to be almost useless too (you can only set check time interval and logs timestamp only changes to settings - downloads are not timestamped). In my experience it doesn't resume download after failing once. Pretty sure removing settings (just set constant 5s interval) but making it keep trying over and over forever would work wonders. While downloading a 14 gb file at slow speed my download was getting interrupted every 10-20 minutes, it went on for over 4 hours. Had to manually resume 5-6 times - other times this poorly designed thing actually worked. But it should be obvious: if it fails to work even once, this extension is pretty much useless. Wish I could drop to bed while my thing was being downloaded but I had to monitor it anyways.
not working, it only attemps to resume first download, the rest is unaffected. and the resume attemps stop after about the 5th attemp despite extension still logs resume attempts but the download never resumes after connection restores.
