Amazon is flooded with trademark-squat "brands": SZHLUX, HORUSDY, LATTOOK, DOZAWA... random strings registered purely to unlock Amazon Brand Registry, selling commodity goods with no company, no warranty, and no reputation behind them.

Knockoff detects those listings and hides, dims, or labels them, right in the search results. Buy from real, established brands, even when that means paying more.

This makes shopping on Amazon worth it again. So many no name brands that are just shipping low quality slop with nothing to lose if they receive bad ratings or bad reviews because they can just spin up another seller listing under another no name brand. This filters out all the noise and only shows you reputable brands that actually ship out quality products. I will never be using Amazon again without this extension. Thank you for this!

Works on the amazon.co.uk local account. Currently it only flags brands when you have searched for results, not on the 'deals' page or on wishlists - a request for a future version!

Finally, someone fixed one of the worst parts of shopping on Amazon. Knockoff is simple, useful, and immediately obvious in value. Amazon search results have become polluted with random pseudo-brands that look like keyboard mashes, often selling the same commodity products with no real company, reputation, warranty, or trust behind them. This extension cuts through that junk and helps me find products from real, established brands again. I especially love that it runs locally, does not require an account, does not track me, and gives me control with allowlists, blocklists, and different filter levels. It does not try to take over the shopping experience. It just quietly makes Amazon usable again. The ability to hide, dim, or label suspicious listings is exactly the right approach. I can still reveal items when I want to, but the default experience is cleaner and more trustworthy. This is one of those extensions that feels obvious after you install it. Amazon should have built this years ago.

Very useful. Allows you to either "dim" the results so that you can still see knockoff items, or hide them completely. Saves a lot of time spent working out what's an unbranded knockoff and what's not.
