Amazon is flooded with trademark-squat "brands": SZHLUX, HORUSDY, LATTOOK, DOZAWA... random strings registered purely to unlock Amazon Brand Registry, selling commodity goods with no company, no warranty, and no reputation behind them.

Knockoff detects those listings and hides, dims, or labels them, right in the search results. Buy from real, established brands, even when that means paying more.

Does not work outside of USA storefront. Please add filtering to international Amazon storefronts like Amazon.ca.

Early days, but it's working already. Searched for an item I knew from last week draws dozens of the exact same item/image with the usual gobbledygook brand names. Today, that image/item isn't appearing at all. So far so good!

Misses a few generic brands here and there, but provides a custom whitelist/blocklist. Gets most of them! Highly recommend.

Great idea. Super helpful for procuring office supplies and anything that is constantly being overproduced in low-quality warehouses. It's annoying having to sift through 500+ products over the course of an hour to figure out which ones are legit. Thanks for such a cool extension

Tried a few test searches that I knew would return real brands and lots of cheapo "knockoff" ones. Didn't seem to reliably filter at any of the preset levels -- it blocked many real brands and allowed a lot of knockoffs. Great idea, but until it can reliably filter, it's not much use to me. And not very feasible to build your own allow/blocklists given the millions of categories and brands out there.

Absolutely incredible. Removed 100% of the slop, allowing me to find the products I actually want to get. Anyone who shops on Amazon should have this.
