This extension adds a button to your browser toolbar. Click the translate icon whenever you want to translate the page you're visiting.
The extension also automatically detects if the language of a page you're on is different from the language you're using for your Google Chrome interface. If it is, a banner appears at the top of the page. Click the Translate button in the banner to have all the text on the page appear in the new language.

Google Translate currently does not support the Montenegrin language (ISO 639-3: CNR). It incorrectly classifies Montenegrin as Serbian, even though Montenegrin has its own standard orthography (letters ś and ź) and specific jotated forms (đe, đevojka, đeca). Please add Montenegrin as a separate language in Google Translate and in the CLD language detection system. Google Translate ekstenzija ne podržava crnogorski jezik (ISO 639-3: CNR). Crnogorski ima posebnu ortografiju (ś, ź) i jotovane oblike (đe, đevojka, đeca), ali ga ekstenzija automatski klasifikuje kao srpski, što je lingvistički netačno. Molim da se crnogorski doda kao zaseban jezik u Google Translate i CLD detekciju.

**For people having trouble with the page not translating, simply reload the page and the translation will kick in** I've noticed that if I right click to open a tab the translation won't work but reloading fixes the problem. I use Google translate all day, every day and it works incredibly well. I've tried other translation extensions such as DeepL and they just aren't as easy to use (though sometimes the translations are more accurate).

website is in japanese, sometimes it translates, sometimes not. extension unhelpfully says "translate is built into chrome" well its auto detect obviously doesnt work all the time... thats why i got the extension? what were you guys thinking? add a button to make it translate or an extension that lets you copy paste the text or translate from an image. why make this and inclued a "keep running but don't do anything" function?
