This used to be a very good extension that I used constantly and was seriously considering donating some money towards as I had some spare funds instead of living paycheck to paycheck for a change... Then the stupid constant popups, and new tabs regarding a browser update that doesn't exist started... So instead I am looking for a new Youtube extension and disabling Magic Actions in all browsers I use (Brave, Firefox, Opera GX)... As soon as I find a suitable replacement for the features I use, I will be flat out uninstalling Magic Actions and not looking back, until then I will only be enabling it when I need it... The developer has lost my trust in regards to the extension...

Like so many others, I'm getting increasingly irritated by the arrival of constant 'update your browser' popups that repeatedly divert from whatever page you're on, no matter how recent your latest Chrome version. The sole reason this isn't 1 star is because it does its job. If it wasn't as effective as it is, I'd have uninstalled already, but I need the features it provides. I'll be looking for a replacement, though, because it's feeling more and more like 2000s malware.

Awful extension, used to be incredible. Then the dev sold out and forces a bunch of popups that want you to "Download the newest chrome update". What an awful program, don't install it.

I just need what it should do, anything to do with Youtube and only Youtube. Do one job and do it well. I don't need it to pop up telling me "Scan and Update" my Chrome. It pops up very frequently and NO WAY to turn it off. Feels like a Malware and could be one. It's probably banking on its past good performance but now could be just that it so well hidden that you don't even know. Uninstalling this immed.

This was the only extension I used for a long time. Very useful. But they started pushing popups with "Your browser is outdated, click to update" constantly. Unwanted popups and unwanted sound are the two worst things any extension/webpage/browser can do, and that alone has made me look at the "Remove from Chrome" button several times.

Used to be a great extension, and then the dev started trying to monetize it a few years ago and now it is filled with annoying pop ups and constant ads telling you your browser is out of date. You can't even change the settings locally without going to their site. Worst-managed extension Ive ever used.
