Awesome features, i love Youtube videos, it contains lot of informations about sciene & Adv. technologies, History etc., it is knowledgeable to watch Youtube.
Used to be good, now it has numerous annoying popups. It's like old-school adware.
Spammy notifications. Please add an option to disable those.
This extension has become unbearably spammy. I am now greeted with shady popups on an almost daily basis. The developer tries to pass these off as official notifications from Chrome or Youtube. Shameful and deceptive.
I'm torn on whether to give this extension three stars or four. Eventually I settled on three, because while it's an absolutely awesome extension and I'm not sure I could use YouTube without it... there are some annoyances. The options settings take you to *their* website to make the changes rather than doing it locally, which is weird. And the extension keeps giving me popups about security checks and updating Chrome, with no option to disable those. (Yes, geez, I know, I gave access for an app to post to my rarely used G+ account - but why is that any of Magic Actions' business? It's not. And Chrome itself tells me when I need to update it.) If I could turn off those popups, it'd get another star.
The developer has recently added several daily popups, which seem to appear above all other programs, imploring you to install other apps and use their service (TM) to check if your Chrome is out of date. It's a shameful cash-grab from a service that is otherwise quite nice. I get it - they want to make a buck off of their work, but pop-ups are not the answer. Uninstalled after years of use.
Random popups about chrome being out of date (even though chrome autoupdates, just need to restart on occasion) and other "security issues" with no option to disable.
It was a good extension, now they have constant annoying popups that you can't disable and honestly, didn't ask for.
