It only works if I manually open the menu for this extension and click "show preview" but it does not automatically replace the homepage logo when I open a new tab.

Die Änderung muss bei jedem mal manuell gemacht werden. Somit hat das überhaupt keinen wirklichen Nutzen. Wieder deinstalliert.
