Was working fine. Now I can't sign in to my own password manager!
I feel the same way. Every time you get it going well, they change something. Then you are trying to figure how to get to your passwords. I am tired of seeing new sign in pages.
All of a sudden, there's a new sign in page----and cannot get in.
Wielkie firmy IT zawsze wciskają jakieś "niezbędne dodatki" z pozoru funkcjonalne i użyteczne ale wykonane na tyle fatalnie, że szybko znajdujemy działający zamiennik lub sobie po prostu odpuszczamy. Co ciekawe takimi dodatkami jesteśmy często nagabywani przy zakupach czy instalacji programów zajmujących się szeroko zdefiniowanym bezpieczeństwem w Internecie czy ochroną naszego systemu operacyjnego . Tak niestety jest również z Norton Password Manager nachalnie "atakującym" każdą przeglądarkę niekończącymi się pytaniami o instalację. Jak wiemy zarządzanie hasłami oraz i ich ochrona to jedno z najbardziej istotnych zadań i zarazem koszmar większości bardziej aktywnych użytkowników. Setki haseł i loginów do dziesiątek kont i kolejne tyle do programów i aplikacji, regularnie zmienianych aby sprostać wyzwaniom internetowych bandytów-hackerów. Norton Password Manager jest programem, który posiada stosunkowo niewielki zestaw narzędzi i funkcji (w porównaniu z innymi managerami haseł), który pozwala na proste i łatwe w obsłudze zarządzanie hasłami, loginami, danymi osobowymi itp., aby ułatwić sobie surfowanie po Sieci. Program przy optymalnych warunkach spełnia zadania do jakich został stworzony (zapisuje, kataloguje, wypełnia pola loginów i haseł (irytująca żółta ikonka może wyprowadzić z równowagi użytkowników, którzy równolegle korzystają również z innego oprogramowania (np. LastPass czy słowniki i translatory). Irytują też ciągłe problemy z logowaniem, wczytywaniem, weryfikowaniem danych zarówno na smartfonie jak i komputerze. W zasadzie można sobie darować ten dodatek/program i sięgnąć po alternatywę. Można też korzystać z wbudowanych menagerów haseł w przeglądarkach wszystkich typów (m.in. Firefox, Chrome, Edge, Vivaldi), a następnie np. skorzystać z funkcji synchronizacji. Norton Password Manager może pomóc ale i zaszkodzić.
This software is now rubish will be changing to pencil and paper as being far more reliable. Have just changed my main password for the manager and was required to add an extra digit then an additional security entry, this has now made it so secure that I can not access the system. Noeton is now dead, will find an alternative when it is due for renewal.
Why can I not open my vault today? It is not opening. This not at all helpful.
Het principe is mooi als het werkt, maar helaas gaat er vaak wat mee fout. Zo ook nu i.c.m. Chrome.
Je ne voulais même pas donné un d'étoile. Très énervant en fait. Il faut vraiment revoir votre application là, elle est venue gattée ma mine pour rien comme ça. Vraiment je ne recommande pas. C'est très nulle. Dommage.
This is FAR more likely to go wrong than keeping a notebook in a quiet drawer somewhere. Why is it impossible to contact NORTON for help? Possibly an on-the-ball systems administrator would handle it, but I'm just an ordinary user without training in 'techie language', so I will have to abandon my vault and get myself a nondescript notebook.
Why does this password manager prevent chrome from saving or updating passwords. It wasn't like that before, this is a recent change.
