This extension is one of the best things to happen to Twitch. I currently support BTTV on their website, and I recommend that anyone who can does so as well. If you're new to Twitch, I 100% think you should get BTTV! It adds to the Twitch experience, and you can finally see all those catJAM s and understand why people say to "Clap" instead of "CLAP"!
