This extension will show you the password in plain text when cursor is over password fields.
You can also change when to show password in options.

works on most of the password fields.
Great! Works Flawlessly. No more frustration!!! (Apparently, another reviewer did not select the related option to reveal the password.)

Great when you are unsure of your password typing.
Works well though it need a better inter face for the button on chrome menubar.
Waste of time. Hovered over password box and nothing happens. When I inspect element, it's a type='password' value='********' so how can it possibly work?
