I have always considered Google Earth to be top of the line in regards to assessing what is going on with Mother Earth.
Needs Nasa imagery of other planet / stars and it'll be perfect.

I've grown to like the new-tab views. Even though there've been times I suspected this extension to cause system-drag, I haven't removed it yet. The system-drag passes and I like the view again.
