Top product. I have tried a few and this one works magic!
Hi, I am experiencing an issue with your extension when using it on forms, such as Google Forms. The extension successfully replaces the words as intended. However, after saving the document and refreshing the page, the changes revert back to the original text. It appears that the tool might not work correctly on pages with multiple 'individual boxes' or input fields. Could you please confirm if this is the case and suggest any possible solutions? Thank you.
Hi, this is a good replacement for the other tool I used to use, but I can't find a way to replace text with blank (as in delete them). Are there plans to add this functionality?
It didn't work and then it started reactivating automatically to change every time that I had Dec 23 to Jan 24 (presumably an old search) on my Xero accounting system. It has taken me ages to find out that this was the culprit.
Hello! I'm writing to express my interest in gaining access to the source code of the "Find and Replace" extension. I'm a programming student, and I believe that analyzing the code of this extension would be extremely helpful for my learning. I understand that sharing the source code may raise security and intellectual property issues, but I want to assure you that my interest is purely educational and professional. I will only use the knowledge gained for learning and internal development purposes within my organization. Would it be possible to provide the source code of the "Find and Replace" extension or indicate a way for me to access it for study? I would be immensely grateful for your consideration.
Excellent tool. But I have a question my webpage has multiple similar values e.g:- "abc" at 5 places but I dont want to replace all 5 occurrences just the selected one how do I do that?
Excellent program! I love the idea of combining multiple rules into groups. It really increases my productivity. However, I have problem running regular expression for some cases. For example, I want to run this regex, (?s)(\[\/mp4\])(?!.*(?1)), to find the last mp4 tag. It works on regex101.com but not on your extension (nor the other extension called Find and Replace for Text Editing). But when I change the regex to (\[\/mp4\](?![\s\S]*\[\/mp4\])), it works on the mentioned extension but not on yours. Perhaps you can give me an idea where you test your regex. Thanks! PS: The Highlight function doesn't work.
Hi there. I have found this tool extremely useful but have come across one issue. When I hit "run all," for some reason the first instance of the "input" text is not replaced but every subsequent instance is. Any ideas why this might be occurring?
