From Vegas: I tried Duck Duck Go over 20 years ago and it just wasn't helpful enough yet...w/Google the devil having an illegal monopoly even then; it made it real hard to get the info I needed - information oppression and retarded political correctness had not entered into the minds of idiots yet. I just downloaded Duck Duck Go and App and switched to the browser in hopes of escaping a tyrant browser Google...I was shocked to find how far Duck Duck Go has come, how much they have matured...the app for my Android was absolutely fun to use and to see what is being blocked and protected is just so fascinating. I couldn't believe how much I was being tracked - you see, my movements are very predicable b/c I don't go very many places on the Internet and I go to the same places everyday so I really did not feel that the toxic Internet cared about little me or my movements - OMG...bloody, hell! The bloody Moe Foes are leaches and they care about your every move!
I missed the simple Google from the beginning with pure results and tried DDG. The wider variety of results that while occasionally puts exactly what I'm looking for down a couple has given me more of what I am querying for. I have even run some back to back searches and the difference between the DDG and Google results is eye opening. Great job DDG. Keep it pure!

This extension does a great job at eliminating trackers on third-party sites! Best part is it shows you who is trying to take a peak at your good goods.

After a few days, I call this amazing...my computer isn't bogging down and the searches are new and exciting. It is amazing without all the adds and new information. I like it a lot.
Good app, I encourage anyone to try it out.... although if successful it will be a matter of time before google buy them out....
this is awesome, i have been waiting for any company that replace google, love this very much the same result when i search in google or duckduckgo, feel more comfortalbe with this new search engine.
I have noticed a difference since downloading this and using DuckDuck Go as my default search engine (as well as addingthe rating extension so I know how safe and private the sites I'm visiting are). My adds are less targeted, which has helped me curb my spending anddecrease screen time.
