At DuckDuckGo, we believe the best way to protect your personal information from hackers, scammers, and privacy-invasive companies is to stop it from being collected at all. That's why millions of people choose DuckDuckGo over other browser extensions to protect their searching and browsing. Our built-in search engine is like Google but never tracks your searches. And our browsing protections, such as ad tracker blocking and cookie blocking, help stop other companies from collecting your data. Oh, and our browser extension is free — we make money from privacy-respecting search ads, not by exploiting your data. Take back control of your personal information with the browser extension designed for data protection.

Отлично!
Would be 11/10 if they got a voice search function.
Works for the most part but over rides my default search engine in the browser and wont let me change it. It's annoying Especially since it's DDG with custom parameters,
it works
This search engine is a hindrance as it has limited settings with the inability to control what about the chrome add-on I can change as I'm unable to select the services of which would be normally available to me such as Gmail and youtube .e.g. both of which I usually be able to use without a bookmark as they are provided with a drop-down menu. I would like to be able to use the services that google provides while not being tracked which your search engine provides but unfortunately I'm incapable of doing so due to the lack of options I have available to me in the duckduckgo UI, and so I'm unlikely to use the add-on and your search engine. Google services is probably one of the reasons preventing me and others from using your or any other search engine as the services are very useful, if you incorporate an option into your UI that would allow me to have access to googles services via drop-down menu while searching with your search engine this would be very beneficial for you and me. Please make these changes. Thanks.
¸simple et de plus en plus efficace
I'd give DDG 5 stars if it kept my search terms private from anyone managing the network I'm on. If you use DDG over HTTPS thinking that your search terms cannot be seen by your employer/hotspot owner/etc, you'd be mistaken. They can see anything that ends up in your browser's URL bar since URLs cannot be encrypted. For example, a search on "MY SEARCH TERMS" results in a URL like: https://duckduckgo.com/?q=MY+SEARCH+TERMS&ia=web This can be tracked by your network owner. Does DDG have any plans to use HTTP form POSTs, instead of HTTP GETs, to prevent search terms ending up in URLs? I'm not who is behind SearchEncrypt from choosetoencrypt.com (based in Cyprus), but they explain it this way when comparing the two offerings: "Your Search Term Shows Up In Your URL When you search on DuckDuckGo your search term is visible in the address bar of your browser. As a result, your search term shows up in your history. If the point of DuckDuckGo is to remain more private while searching the web, it doesn’t make sense to have your search terms visible to anyone with access to your computer (or your network)."
A pesar de que funciona fantasticamente y justo como lo describe prefiero utilizar Disconnect ya que bloquea el motor de busqueda y no te permite cambiarlo.
