This extension help you generate QR code for links and text, while supporting scan QR code through context menus, local files and webcam. All functions execute locally on your browser, no data send to server.
1. When you click the extension icon, it shows you QR code for current page URL. And you can change input and download QR code. There are two buttons at the bottom for custom generating and scanning QR code in a new page.
For generating QR code, you can:
• Input any URL or text
• Adjust margin
• Adjust size

I said to my self, "why can't isn't there an extension to get a link from a qr code, maybe they do have it on the app store", I did a quick search, and here I am, writing a review of how cool this is.
I'm not sure what to say, but it's a 'W' extension, which means it's really useful and good.
You can create a QR code when selecting the phone number to call, for example: tel:0123456789

Отличное расширение, спасибо! У меня почему-то сложные куар-коды (где много текста) не распознает, а вот более простые - моментально. Встроенное приложение камеры Windows те же самые сложные куар-коды распознает уверенно. Этот момент можно, при желании разработчика, посмотреть на предмет улучшения. Также можно подумать над экспортом распознанных данных в соответствующие форматы - например, контактных данных - в файлы визитных карточек (vcard), геоданные - в kml/kmz и так далее. А также над импортом этих (возможно, других популярных в плане передачи по QR) форматов, для генерации из них куар-кодов
