🔍 ABOUT
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
OpenDyslexic is a free, open-source font designed to make reading easier for people with dyslexia. This extension replaces all fonts on web pages with the OpenDyslexic font, making content more readable and accessible.
Sometimes letters can feel jumbled or rotated, making reading frustrating. OpenDyslexic tackles this by giving each letter a heavier bottom, creating a "gravity" effect that helps keep them steady and grounded. This unique design makes it easier to recognize letters and read smoothly.
The distinct shapes of the letters also reduce confusion and swapping, so you can focus on reading without the struggle.

works for ADHD too! (for me at least)
I super love this extension. I have it installed on my work system but as of this morning, 5/20, it is giving text labels for the buttons in GCal. ie keyboard_arrow_up instead of the arrow button
The font is great, but there seems to be a slight issue in formatting: when you turn on the extension, bold text doesn't remain bold unless you are using the OpenDyslexic Italic. For OpenDyslexic and OpenDyslexic Bold all text appears the same.
Cette extension est géniale pour ma dyslexie ! Elle rend la lecture beaucoup plus facile avec les polices adaptées. Je la recommande à 100 %
Really helped me so much. I didn't have high expectations when I decided to try this out, but it's been such a game changer for me when trying to get school and work stuff done.
VERY MUCH APPRECIATED FWEND
Wonderfully helpful. Add a pfd function and I will be in reader heaven.
Thank you so much for making this. I cannot stress enough how necessary this is for me, as a college student dealing with a required online textbook that uses an atrociously vague font. Making this free and accessible to all, especially with the extra bold feature, is such a helpful public service to those with visual processing disabilities and/or dyslexia <3
Thank you, really helpful.
It will be very helpful if also worked with pdf files, can you do that?
