Overview

Product summary

Review the store description, core capabilities, and common use cases.

Whenever you find yourself with too many tabs, click the OneTab icon to convert all of your tabs into a list. When you need to access the tabs again, you can either restore them individually or all at once.

When your tabs are in the OneTab list, you will save up to 95% of memory because you will have reduced the number of tabs open in your web browser.

Privacy assurance

OneTab is designed for privacy. Your tab URLs are never transmitted or disclosed to either the OneTab developers or any other party, and icons for tab URL domains are generated by Google. The only exception to this is if you intentionally click on our 'share as a web page' feature that allows you to upload your list of tabs into a web page in order to share them with others. Tabs are never shared unless you specifically use the 'share as a web page' feature.

Additional Benefits

Storing tabs in OneTab can also speed up your computer by reducing the CPU load and memory (RAM) usage of your browser. Even a high-end computer can become sluggish when many browser windows are open, because each open browser window may constantly consume resources.

Amazingly useful. My typical use case is I need to restart Chrome, but don't want to lose my tabs. I OneTab them down to a single tab, then restart my browser. If I want to be paranoid, I can also get a hyperlink that links to all the tab locations.

I use this constantly. The great thing about it is that it saves your pages until you get rid of them. It is seriously amazing for keeping your computer's resources free (chrome does such a good job spending them for you if you don't pay attention). Did you open a hundred tabs?... oops, close them all and save them for later in one click!

Why does "restore all" paradoxically "delete all" your tabs? RESTORE and DELETE are antonyms!!!!

It just lists the most recent page visited in each open tab and then closes the tabs. It doesn't remember any browsing history, form info filled in or your place on the page. It basically just creates a list of bookmarks, pretty pointless really.

Fantastic! I've tried every tab/window manager I could find and this is THE ONE! Ability to rename tab groups is great. Researching a product? Save all the related tabs then Name the group so you can pull it all back up later with one click. I just wish there was a way to sync my lists between PCs (mobile too would be good of course). Or a way to specify the data file be stored on Dropbox/skydrive so it would sync. Or an API where I could just do these things myself. I'd also like to know where the file is that stores the link data so I Can back it up, or again maybe pointing that to dropbox would be an easy way to sync across PCs. Let me also say to I'd pay $20/yr to have this multi device sync capability available via a secure service you host. Maybe also give me the ability to see my tabs online, similar to LastPass. Even without these enhancements this is a wonderful tool that I strongly recommend.
