The extension helps journalists and researchers verify the authenticity of images, and assists in the identification of false information on social media. Search by Image is also popular among photographers, helping artists explore how their work is shared on the web, while shoppers find it valuable for discovering similar products at discounted prices.
The extension enables you to search for images from the context menu and the browser toolbar with the help of a diverse set of reverse image search engines, which can be toggled and reordered from the extension's options. Visit the wiki for the full list of supported search engines.

loved this extension. hate google lens, they ruined search by image feature of chrome browser. for specific image by size to get the source or original image. thanks to this extension, did some peaceful browsing.

I had to download an extension because google is dumb enough to disable their perfectly fine and working image search and replaced it with a terrible and useless PoS called "Google Lens." Thank you for this.

Literally the only thing that has worked for me to bring back the old google image search!!! The current google lens feature is useless as it doesn't bring up the option to find different sizes of the same image and also provides you with less results that are just randomly listed. I do have #enable-lens-standalone disabled in flags though which might've helped the extension, but who knows. I'm just happy this works, with this, I can finally do my job properly!
