The extension helps journalists and researchers verify the authenticity of images, and assists in the identification of false information on social media. Search by Image is also popular among photographers, helping artists explore how their work is shared on the web, while shoppers find it valuable for discovering similar products at discounted prices.
The extension enables you to search for images from the context menu and the browser toolbar with the help of a diverse set of reverse image search engines, which can be toggled and reordered from the extension's options. Visit the wiki for the full list of supported search engines.

Images positioned at the selected area are detected regardless of how they were embedded in the page. The extension also supports searching with images from your device, images from private sites, and captured areas of the page.

It´s wonderful, i use it all the time, but i just hope that the option of opening just the image in a new tab can be available in the future, sometimes i just search a image just to save it, Thank you for your hard work :)

This addon is very useful especially since Google now uses Lens instead of legacy reverse image search. Much appreciation to the devs who maintaining this addon.
Installed the extension because Chrome replaced image search with google lens. This works great and also provides other image search services, which is useful. Good job!
Been using this for a while on firefox, and finally decided to look it up on chrome. To me it's super useful, but I'm surprised at how few people are using it. It adds an item to your context menu, and from any page, you can right click an image, select a search engine from a dropdown, or open them all, and get results in new window. It really has it all, and it's much easier than having to go to google, and yandex, and whatever else, cause it's all in one.

August 2024 Update: Consistently breaks and requires a whole-extension restart. Getting more and more annoying to have to restart the extension from the Chrome extensions window. Downgrading to 2/5. _________ June 2024 Update: Want to move back up to 5 stars but the extension only seems to be working 70-80% of the time, instead of the 100% of the time it used to. On some sites, right-clicking on an image causes nothing to happen. 4/5. _________ September 2023 Update: Updated from 3-4 stars. No recent windows from this extension of the extension's creator, "armin.dev", panhandling for money. I really want to like this extension. Hopefully a statement gets posted that confirms the begging messages are gone. _________ Original review: A good extension. However, the author breaks the browsing experience to beg for money multiple times, ruining an otherwise quality experience. It would otherwise be a 5/5, but it's not for that reason. 3/5
