This extension tries to mimic the ALT+TAB behavior from Windows(or Command+TAB in Mac) to allow to switch between open tabs in a Most Recently Used fashion.
It remembers the order in which you switched tabs (made a tab active) and it updates its records so that you can switch to the recently used ones quickly.
Note: Sometimes after updating the extension the keyboard shortcut settings get reset. Hence you might want to set the desired keyboard shortcuts again in the keyboard shortcut settings in the Chrome Extensions page.
Alternatively, navigate to chrome://extensions/shortcuts from your address bar to change shortcuts.

Лучшее расширение! Экономит время и нервы) Ну и да, странно что в хром до сих пор не завезли эту фичу. Лиса это умеет уже давным-давно, и это действительно очень полезная функция.

No frills extension. Does exactly what it advertises.
Exactly what I need to simple dumb last tabs switch! No idea why this still not in Chrome default code!
It's the best one out there. I know it's for 'clut'ing but it would also be nice to have the ability to alt-q repeatedly to scroll through all the tabs much like in Windows. Well done. I've used this extension for at least a couple years on several gmail accounts.
I was using the other more popular extension (Jason's Recent Tabs) until that one updated in April and required a lot more permissions for no obvious reasons. Switched to this one and got the same functionality with few permissions asked.
