Honestly at its current stage, it just makes research more miserable. I have more control over the weather than I have of this thing. Whether the addon opens, whether it manages to sign in, and whether it finds the metadata is more random than a dali painting. And when I click the "add" button I have no idea whether the thing's going to add 0, 2 or even 3 references to my library. Usually 0, btw. Oh, and to close the window and get it out of the way, I have to refresh the page.
Used to be great but now hardly ever works
It inconsistently works on chrome, the amount of time lost to trying to get it to work is close to it being easier to ditch mendeley altogether and do references manually
it is not working
does not work
Doesn't always work in chrome. Works sometimes, then stops. It probably doesn't work more times than it actually does.
Not working at all
The signing in is not working. Gives 504 error. Useless.
Where are the previous programs that were researcher-oriented and robust? Now mendeley is men-delay.
it literally never works in chrome on my mac. I click on the extension it to add a page to my references, and nothing happens. When I close and open it again, it may or may not start to work. Another problem is that when it does open the reference in chrome, it still does not save it to the library even after I sync it and refresh it.
