Doesn't work. Can't even get past the Sign In page despite that I have an account and entered the details.
Dec 2020. The plug in takes forever to load. The usual save citation and pdf menu won't show up. Chrome and plugin are in latest version. Update in July 2024, they still haven't fix this issue. Additionally, on some publication sites, the plugin will only prompt your institution login (SSO) as default. Once logging in, it doesn't allow me to log in with my Mendeley account (different email address) any more, and subsequently doesn't allow me to add the article to my collection.
The chances of this extension not working is higher than working with no error!
The web importer has stopped working on chrome and it is such a pain to manually input all the data. Most of the time it doesn't even connect. Lots of bugs
More and more bugs and crashes now! 1. Lost subfolder structure occasionally, especially when there are more than three layers! This is totally a disaster !!!! 2. Web importer no longer work with IEEE Xplorer, I have the access to IEEE but recently Mendeley can not find the PDF anymore! 3. Web importer can not match the paper details at IEEE full-text PDF page, used to work but not now! 4. Can not login the Web importer sometime, showing internal error.
Login fails most of the times
Nothing works anymore, this and the desktop version are ruined. I can't add the pug-in for LibreOffice, I can't use his either so removed the Mendeley and definitely never come back to this app.
It just does not work. Most of the time the extension denies to sign in my account and then when I manage to sign in it simple does not work, I am unable to import or use it for anything it is supposed to be doing.
Funcionaba, trabajaba con el, aunque muchas veces me hace trabajar doble, y ahora ya no funciona, genial!, espero que lo resuelvan pronto, ya lo instale y lo desinstale, y nada. Y no me menciona cual es el error, es más ni siquiera me deja abrir la pestaña para editar la referencia.
Used to work, now it does nothing. Installed, reinstalled, clicking it won't even open the sign in page.
