It is great when it works. I reached out the support they asked to clean cache, I dit it and it solve on one day. Day after same issues, cleaned the cache again and it did not work. SUPER FRUSTRATING.
Funktioniert gar nicht. Das Icon ist da und nichts passiert... echt enttäuschend
This is a fantastic app. Very versatile. Very handy in searching papers. However, there are bug issues concerning the chrome web importer. Hopefully, this gets fixed at the earliest for happy research. :)
This app is great. I would give it 5 stars I just wish it would allow you to tag or write comments about references before you add them with the web importer.
This used to be an excellent app with seamless web importer extension. But these days, I can't even import a simple web page and have it synced with my Mendeley library. What gives?
On mendeley desktop on ubuntu I had an import system right there on the desktop version without the need for further extensions. This does not work well, but related to Kaisa's comment previously I think you need to first log into mendeley web page in the browser to make it work. Still, it is pretty slow
In the hope of leaving some positivity in the sea of negativity that the internet is, I have been using this extension and Mendeley Desktop for the past 6 months and it has been amazing! Other than the occasional sign off (which if it exists for security reasons, I appreciate), it has been working flawlessly! (PS: On IEEE, metadata detection within the article page works, but with the pdf open it does not)
great app
So problematic! I used to love the old one, but now I cannot make it work either in Firefox neither in Chrome. Such a pity
Your bookmarklet was much better. PDF, and adding tags were no problem. This extension doesn't offer a field to add my personal tags!!
