I had issues with some earlier versions, but I find this extension´s version to work seamlessly so far. Happy with it!
Switch back to the old version of the plugin. This new one is so slow, less user-friendly, just really really bad. Used to be a 5 star web plugin. Now I'd give it 0 stars if I could
just cannot use. after login always ask for login again
So unstable. I recently started using a new PC and tried to add the Mendely web extension. It pops up fine-asks me to sign in, ok- then the login window disappears... and thats it.. The popup on the article remains as "get started click here to login' = Ive closed and repeated this several times.. it doesnt log in.. Also the citation manager in my word version decides when it wants to work or not.. I've tried reinstalling both word and mendeley but to no resolve.. In general Mendeley products have a great concept but are just so unpredictable and unstable as to when they want to work.. Its a shame!
malfunction: Still can't find any references after sync ...
The extension doesn't work as it supposed to. I installed it correctly, but when I pressed Ctrl+Shift+S, then Get started, then Signed in, typed username and password - just nothing happened... There are no references added to my library, as well as no even window appeared as shown in the youtube video... just Get started again...

I am unable to sign into my Mendeley extension. After clicking the "Get Started" button in the extension, no action takes place.
Today my Web Importer stopped working so I had to reinstall it and it's now TOTALLY different! I used to be able to choose whether to download the pdf or not (and now it doesn't give me that option but clutters up my Mendeley with unwanted pdf downloads). I also used to be able to click into the importer to update any information that was missing, which it doesn't appear to let me do so I now have to log into Mendeley Desktop, sync and then add the missing page numbers, volume, issue and Abstracts as necessary - very, very time consuming and I'm thinking that it would probably be easier just to copy everything into the Mendeley Desktop and Add the Entry Manually. It worked so well before but now it's awful!
The older chrome plugin worked just fine before the update !, now the web plugin is useless 🤬
